2014 taxes

So 2014 is here so that means it will be time for taxes, I am trying to get all my paperwork together in preparation for taxes. The good thing about expat worker is that we get a tax benefit for working oversea. YAY!!! This is called the “Foreign Earned Income Exclusion” for 2013 we qualify for $97,600 to exclude from income up to the amount of your foreign earnings. You do have to qualify for either a Bona Fide Residence test or a physical presence test to be able to file for foreign earns income exclusion. I am qualify for the physical presence test which state that I have to be physically present in a foreign country for 330 days during a 12 month period. Hopefully I can stick it out a little bit and longer and not go crazy. I will attach the link for more details. I just wanted to share some benefits of working oversea if anyone is interested to make a move.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I located it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
