Personal checking account: $22,834 - I have excess cash and will plan on moving $10,000 into my saving account.

Rental checking account: $14,010 (-$622) - I had to pay Hoa fee and other expense related to rentals.

Saving Account:11,045 - Will save up to $20,000 for emergency, currently a work in progress.

-$631 - Western Union Transfer money for friend.

-$48 - Mother day flower

Total Expense: $-4,973

Summary:

  • For this month I made 2 stock purchase Wmt 15 shares for $67.75 3/30/2016 Total Value: $1,069.39 and BP Qty: 65 share for $30.38 4/11/16 Total Value: $1,974.70.
  • Dividend from stock that I received this month was: $157.00
  • Net: from rental income was only $160, due to process of eviction for 1 of my properties and minor repairs for another property.
  • Net worth increase $37,841 due to market fluctuation and additional money.
  • Debt increase (+921), I’m trying lower this down a bit, but I have some upcoming major expense plus I will have to buy travel ticket to go home in July. This will increase later on.

Goals for month of May:

  • Transfer $10,000 to my emergency savings.
  • Add $3,000+ to taxable investment Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Funds.

      Yeah it’s not to bad. I’m trying to keep my debt under control but a couple of month I will have some big ticket expense.
